Moonshine

This is the famous Eastern Gate of Dongdaemun in Seoul. It was originally built during the Joseon Dynasty and it was the major gate of the eastern wall. The gate has been restored several times and is now encompassed by the largest shopping area in Korea.

I’ve been working on a collection of night shots for this area but this very small gate has captured my attention. Sometimes as an amateur photographer, you run into a subject that your camera can’t screw up. It’s kind of like the girl who will take you home even if you throw up on her shoes. Please enjoy.
